The Seedling Factory

The Seedling Factory is Western Australia’s largest vegetable seedling grower.

Sseedlings are produced in their newly developed, 40-acre nursery facility in Oldbury. The state-of-the-art nursery was constructed with advanced technology to streamline workflow from seeding through to germination, robotic stacking, layout, and finally to the pickup and dispatch of final products. Approximately 70 million seedlings are produced annually.

The Seedling Factory produces actively growing, disease-free, hardy stock delivered on time, every time. The company has employed a team of highly experienced and dedicated staff with an excellent eye for detail. Several risk mitigation strategies have been implemented to minimize the risk of supply failures to growers, including backup generators, bores, and pumps, as well as daily checks for pest or disease outbreaks.

The Seedling Factory transports to clients around the state, with particular emphasis on the growing regions of Carnarvon, Gingin, Geraldton, Perth Metro, and Manjimup. They gladly assist growers with variety selection options for their geographic region.
