You are invited to join us for an informative discussion and talk about trees and Arboriculture in the beautiful botanical gardens of Kings Park.
Kings Park is world-renowned for its natural beauty, much of this owing to the magnificent tree-lined avenues and parklands.
Jeremy Thomas (Curator - Arboriculture, Kings Park) will lead our walk and speak about the many significant trees in Kings Park including how they’re maintained and managed.  Our tour will begin in the Kings Park (Tree) Nursery, where Jeremy Thomas will explain early tree care and the process of broader tree management once the nursery stock is planted out in Kings Park.
From the nursery we will walk up Fraser Avenue into the State War precinct, and point out some of the significant trees and discuss the management, maintenance and risk mitigation involved in their care.

Our thanks to the staff at Kings Park
and our sponsors, Baileys Fertiliser for making this event possible.
